The choke is made from a microwave oven tranny. The HT winding gives an inductance of approx 100 Henrys with an air gap of .01 inches inserted by cutting the "E" and "I" laminations apart with a thin cutting disk. The laminations are glued back with epoxy and the gap width maintained with small lengths of copper wire while glue is curing.
