Distortion plot from 500-20khz showing the system distortion at a high drive level. This is way beyond what I would ever listen to. Interestingly the tweeter drive level was around 25-35 volts p-p, the increase in power required to combat some upper end droop, this does explain the increase in distortion towards high frequencies too.
This should be about ~100dB @ 1 meter. There are also some peaks due to things in the room rattling Such as the one you can just see off at around 500hz. The midrange driver used is a SEAS W15CY001 crossed in at 2000hz 4th order. |
