Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a zobel network to compensate the rising impedance of my old Fe103 (without "e"). Has anyone values for C an R for me? I use the driver with my wimpy tube amp and without compensation the treble is way to prominent. BTW: search function got no answer for me. Cheers, TKsys |

Here are most of the tools and information you will need:
Background: http://www.quarter-wave.com/General/BSC_Variable.pdf Calculator (.XLS): http://www.quarter-wave.com/General/BSC_Calculator.xls FE103 Datasheet: http://www.fostexinternational.com/d...f/fe103rev.pdf Unfortunately, the datasheet does not give Le, which you will require to calculate the Zobel. Perhaps someone who has a FE103 can offer up the inductance. Cheers, Gio.

10R in series with 3u53 works for the FE103E. That should be a good starting point for the old FE103.
