Neofone and Foster

I'm going to build Neofone and Foster from DIYhifiSupply

anyone have experience with this setup?

Alright! Another fullrange supplier and product lineup I didn't know about. I wonder just how much is really out there..

i think this one using CSS design, if i'm not mistaken, but the cone is different and neofone using neodymium magnet without the phase plug

Is this driver possible for ML-TL?

I have a set of these drivers. The ribbon is very highly regarded -- haven't hooked them up yet.

The NeoPhone we did toss into an OB fresh out of the box. After less than a half-hour we put it aside until we could get some hours on them.

My intention is to morph the Thorsten box into a Fonken/miniOnken-style box.

yes, i've seen the foster's in Legacy Focus 20/20, i think its highly regarded low cost ribbon

I'm thinking to build Floorstander, and adding the Dynafone as a woofer, should be passive or active?

it would be a great 3way Floorstanding, isn't it.

That same thinking has crossed my mind too. Active on the bottom, passive on the top. So far the extent of XOs i've seeb have been series caps on the ribbons. I have a feeling that a series XO a bit lower might be interesting.

maybe 2 per side using Push-push config like u recommend before?

OR maybe 2 8inch woofer per side, using Hi-Vi alu/mag cone or Jordan 6 inch?

is the volume going to be twice also (in push-push config)?

Hmmh, are you planning to use the (super)tweeter from the beginning, or try to run the neofone alone as fullrange?
