Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share my first completed pair of speakers with you-all. The design, as many of you will recognize, is Tony Gee's Solo-103. Great stereo imaging, and output sounds great down to ~80hz, though as one might expect, nothing below that. Seems to be a great match for the super T-amp. The little box next to the T-amp is the external BSC - used very large inductors that would not fit inside of the speakers themselves. The speakers have taken up residence on my girlfriend's bookshelf, so I guess it's time to get started on my next project... Regards, Ryan |

Those came out beautifully! This is exactly the way to make a great sounding system for not too much money. You built a system that sounds like thousands rather than hundreds! Excellent job!
I would consider adding a sub to round out the overall sound. Hope your girlfriend appreciates it! Godzilla |

Thanks for the encouragement, Godzilla. I am currently using leftover ply to build a spiral-horn sub to fill in the bottom end. Using information from these pages:
3D Spiral Horn Speaker Building The wood is done; the spiral, not so much. Cheers, Ryan |
