Is there a set of dimensions laid out for the 40-1354 in a format more easily understood by a doofus like myself? Perhaps with the sizes of the piecies of wood needed, or at least the "A/B/C/D" dimensions found on the generic BiB?
http://www.zillaspeak.com/bib-howtobuild.asp I feel like a moron, but I'm confused. |

Perhaps Scottmoose can give u more details but according to the site here: http://www.zillaspeak.com/BIB-RadioShack.asp Radio Shack 40-1354 - original BIB by TC * Outside box dimensions are 7"x14"x70" * Driver height from base is 39" * Baffle is centered at 5-1/2" between outer walls and floor of cabinet Therefore the base is 7"x14", height is 70", u can probably use 3/4" MDF or plywood. Center baffle needs to extend from the top corner to 5-1/2" (will be about 65" long) as your drawing suggests. I have built 2 and I always use 1/2" plywood and reinforce the wall with 1/4" hardibacker (cement layer reenforcement) making it equivalent to 3/4" plywood alone. U can check my site and get some idea here: http://gychang.smugmug.com/gallery/2055074 gychang |
