Default aurasound 3"

recently picked up the madisound special http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/ind....5195&pid=1757 thought they would make a great little bedroom speaker on some vintage fisher tube gear. I,ve tried multiple alignments sealed and still feel the sound is hollow, wondered if anyone has had success with this driver in a TL or other enclosure?

I believe Tim was quite successful and Planet10 was successful as well. Here is link to Tim's TL design

Different speaker.

I've only worked with that one (193-8A) and I'm super impressed.

That one you have 2020 looks nice from the datasheet - 85dB from a 3"... wow! Let us know how it sounds

These look perfect for some of those 3D spiral horns.

Default update

I’ve just put together a adjustable volume box to explore Q from .5-1.5, the driver is very sensitive to leaks and obviously not much good below 120hz, I am most interested in improving transient response something a TL is known for, the only TL I have is a set of Stromberg Carlson from before I was born. Currently I have an old set KLH on them and was hoping to down size at least one of my analog setups. The driver is very fast and performs above 10k better than I could have expected, keep the suggestions coming I know this driver is better than I have utilized it
Thanks,
Thomas
