Before going into horns I must do some investigation about what amount of reverberation I need. New research by Floyd Toole shows that we really prefer broad 1-6kHz dispersion (omnipolar). That means I can install sound deflector (similar to the Holoprofile) on pistonic driver like Bandor. This is easy and cheap - see Linkwitz Pluto. Another step is a bipolar infinite baffle (Diskus).
Have you tried such deflectors? |
