anybody ever hear of anything like this before? its realy kinda cool,i can imagine the wives wouldnt mind it ( or a pair of them ) on a shelf (shelves) or a small table(s) in the corner. heck,i might not mind it either.thing is,i cant make out much else besides, its octagon shaped, beautifull, and i think it refers to inlay or marqetry(spelling hahaha). fancy inlays. around the edges i think. i went to a translator for cash site, and they either told me it was about 25K in usa money. damn! im not buying,,but when i saw it,i thought of you guys,, and if any of you had ever seen anything like it. roy |

25K? It's at around $300 right now, something is off. Interesting, wonder what the scoop is. Not to my taste, but I'm sure you're right, that some women would like it.

Really old stuff, from like the 30's if I'm not mistaken.
You'd see something like this attached to an old Atwater Kent 'cookie tin' tube radio. A modern interpretation like roystr is talking about might have some Silver Iris's in them. As for "....that some women will like it", that could be a good thing, right? Thier SAF/WAF could make it much easier to 'justify' the S.I.'s R/ Jim |
