Default "The Puget Sound!" Speaker Contest

I'm happy to announce that the Pacific Northwest Audio Society is once again sponsoring "The Puget Sound" DIY speaker contest. If you read the rules, etc., you'll note that there is a specific category for fullrange speakers. It's free for spectators, a nominal fee per entry and a lot of fun for everyone.

I'm listing the URL for information below, but please note that this year the date of the contest is Saturday, August 26th.

The website hasn't been updated, but all the information (except the date) is relevant.
The URL is:

http://www.thepugetsound.iwarp.com/

Best Regards,
TerryO

I'll be there but probably not in the single FRD category.

Terry the link is a bit confusing.
Perhaps you could double check it.

Scott,
The website is a couple of years old, and in the meantime a "lot" of junk has accumulated on it. I'm not a computer guy and didn't put it together in the first place. Maybe I can bribe my daughter to put a new one together for me. If that's not forthcoming, then perhaps I'll just copy the info and send it out as an email to interested parties or just post them to the respective forums.
Anyhow, I do appreciate the feedback, and am looking forward to seeing you in August (here or there :^).
Best Regards,
TerryO

News Flash.........My daughter tells me that she'll look into it, Hurray!!!!!!!

Thanks Terry:
It all makes sense to me now.
I can not commit for sure but I am going to try and make it down for a listen. I am about ready for an American vacation. Our dollar is looking pretty good these days.
If all goes well I may even be able to bring something to listen to.

Hi Terry.
I'm kinda hung up on the registration form. People give me things, especially drivers, ya know?
Do I figure out a value for them?

Tim,
That's a good question.

I would suggest that you figure the value of the drivers at what you'll sell them to me after the contest.

Probably it would be better to figure the value at what the lowest price the drivers were offered to the general public.

Best Regards,
TerryO

Thanks Terry.
I may not be able to enter this design then since the drivers are an OEM product that has never been offered to the retail market, if I understand the rules correctly.
They were designed for a sonogram machine. You may already know which ones I'm referring to.
Maybe I'll bring them to the next PNAS meeting and show you.

Or bring them with Aug 5 (Terry is planning on coming and Ruth hopes to see Ali again -- as do we all)...
