you must have quickly learned that nudging them up creates very audiible amounts of distortion. it also does not have a preamp level that allows you to use the EQ to its fullest without clipping.
try winamp, its a good, free program with a good library interface, and can play more file types than windows media. The only advatnage is that windows media player can play DVDs.... not to mention the thousands of DSP addons that will get your mdeia player doing whatever you want..... ....not to mention its free! anything you(WMP) can do i(winamp) can do betteerr!!!
