Foster horn tweeters.

I`ve picked up a pair of Foster 49-1168 horn tweeters and am hoping to use them with my new JBL D123s in a br enclosure. Does anyone have any info on these or has anyone heard them?

Hey, thanks for the info. I`m trying to work out the efficiency. Can i assume from your info that they are around the mid 90s spl?

No. These are in the 90-91 dB range. Some of the newer cereamic versions are quite a bit more efficient, but don't sound quite as good.

Thanks for the info. By the way i installed the phase plugs i picked up from you into my 167s and am very pleased with the sound. Nice and smooth without some of the sibilence that was present before.
