I read the whole Needles thread and saw a few guys were using the Aura NS3 in the Needles enclosure. I was wondering if anyone designed a cabinet specificallyl for the Aura NS3, or even, the Hi-Vi B3S? I would like to get away without using a notch and figured the Aura would be the way to go.
Thanks! |

Hi,
Hi-Vi B3S single driver system http://www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker18.html Aura NS3-193 full range (3rd project down) http://www.zaphaudio.com/archives.html Best with a notch. Perhaps you can get away without one for nearfield listening. Both projects are very well documented. Have fun. Gio.

Thanks for the links, but I'm looking for a "tower" design that's a transmission line as well, which will allow the speaker to dig much deeper. I'm still need to the transmission line thing and think I've read a few times a ported system is a TL. If that's the case, I don't want a port but want a TL with a "line" built out of wood channels.
Sorry for being so newbish on TLs |
