Yeah, its anoying from my point of view too, loads more suff available in the US, bottlehead ect, but shipping issues, if anything goes wrong the manufacturer is very far away, and voltage issues make things harder.
Exchange rate is good though.

Same with the car
Performance parts for old volkswagebs are so much cheaper over there!!

Well they are simply completely different kinds of speakers.

Zaph's 17 seems to me ideally suitable for your 405 amplifiers.
(You can save your Missions for parties, louder but worse quality
is no real choice, domestically you will not swap them around)

You say you want clarity and detail, which they will deliver.

Regarding the FE206E BLH I just pointed you to a well designed,
documented, and described example of a BLH, on the assumption
that you wanted a BLH as something different.

My foot is the high quality 2-way box speaker camp, so given
most in this thread are horn fans I'll probably get slaughtered.

Thanks for response! Have you heard FE206E BLH? How Zaph's 17 will deal with more complex material at louder levels? How they will compare in dinamics?
