Hi, I'm a newbie to DIY and full range speakers. I've aquired a pair of BK201 horns with Fostex FP203 speakers. I've refurbished the horns and am quite happy with them.
The only thing I'd like to change is their pronounced midrange. Violins and female voices in particular are reproduced too sharp. Since the FPs are very directional I've positioned the horns slightly toed out. Of course, this compromizes their imageing. Are there suggestions for an electronic filter to lower the speakers response above 2kHz? Regards, Keith |
