Hey all...
Would FR125's sound good in Voigt pipes? If so, what dimensions should I use? I have plans for pipes designed for FE127E's, but I'm not sure if they will work well or not with the CSS driver. Thanks for any help in advance.

Very true.
If you mean Mass-loaded Tapered Quarter-Wave Tubes, then yes, they will work, and very well, as you can see. If you mean in the loathsome Lowther Club of Norway 'Voigt Pipe' then no. The only use that thing has is for providing an alternative means of heating in winter when your run out of fuel. See the other threads on the subject for more. Best Scott |

If you decide on a MLTQWP then be thoughtful about the tuning frequency of the cabinet. I would not go below FS or ~ 65 htz. The driver tends to thump and fart a bit if the cabinet is tuned too low.
Good luck
