Does anyone know a working link to Jim's award winning Atlanta 2001 design? All the ones I've found by searching have been dead and lead to 404 error pages.

Rob,
Look at these links for the design package and 2004 Atlanta DIY speaker results. Jim Jordan JX92S with A-C Ribbon Design Package 2004 DIY Atlanta Results |

Rob,
I should have added that the 2001 full range Jordan JX92S design has the same enclosure size as the 2004 winner but a 1.5 mH inductor and 4 ohms resistor (components in parallel with the network in series) for baffle step compensation. Of course no ribbon or crossover network for the older design. Jim |

Jim,
Have you given any more thought to designing a passive crossover for your new JX92 line array? Ray |

You may be talking about my CSS WR125S and Aurum Cantus G2i-130 array that I demonstrated earlier this year at the Great Plains Audiofest. At that time the crossover was active but I do have a passive crossover version running at this point. I'm working with Bob Reimer of CSS for him to offer a kit with plans and parts with the passive crossover. CSS should be able to have the kit available in a few weeks, I hope. An delay is my fault in completion of the details. Jim

Jim,
Could you email me regarding the crossover for the jx92/g2si tower that I listened to in dayton. I'd email you but the system currently prohibits my ability to do this. Thanks much, Jon (jfk) |
