They are always a joy.

IMO of course.

Of course they bring joy, they are diy. Oh you mean the speakers? I thought you might have been talking about your little helpers.

The woodwork looks very nice and I bet they sound pretty good. Heck by doing the mods, you've doubled the value of the tweeter ;)

I think i've at least trippled the value of the tweeter... and it sounds better facing backwards. LOL

Pick a different tweeter if you want. It's not difficult to blend one into the B20... but i think the cheap piezo is particularly well suited in this application.

Peace,
Godzilla

Ok, how about one of these little guys:

Call it a rich mans piezo ;)

At nearly $10 bucks maybe that one could be used facing forward.

I would try it. Using a 1uf or even lower value (I use .47uf for the piezo facing forward... and with some TB drivers .33uf) it might sound fine.

Piezo's are all about fizzly fun sound. Just don't cross them over too low or they will chase more than insects out of the room.

Peace,
Godzilla
