I got sent a new Electus (ie. Jaycar wholesale) catalogue today which has a 2" widerange driver for AU$1.10 each.

Has anybody tried this part (Jaycar/Electus part no. AS-3020)?

At this price I'm tempted to chuck 10 onto the next order I have into Electus.

I have almost zero speaker design knowledge, but would these be worth using in a line array? How many per side?

Claimed specs are:
- Paper cone with cloth surround
- Nominal Impedance: 4ohms
- Power Handling: 2W Max
- Sensitivity: 103dB 1watt 1m
- Voice Coil Resistance (Re): 3.5ohms
- Resonant Frequency (Fs): 276Hz
- Mechanical Q Factor (Qm): 3.5134
- Electrical Q Factor (Qe): 1.2369
- Total Q Factor (Qt): 0.9148
- Magnet Weight: 1.35 Oz
- Vas: 9.45Lt
- Dimensions: 53 x 53 x 30mm

Please, check the parameters @ http://www.jaycarelectronics.co.uk/products_uploaded/AS-3020.pdf

Sd 0,0108sqm (dia=117mm) Mmd -0,06g (negative mass). . .

This was a 2" driver, with Sd closer to 0,00108sqm ?...

LMS asks for Sd, Re, and added mass for parameter derivation..... - typo ?

These parameters are not correct.

Fortunately, those are params we can measure ourselves, then post for others :)
