Can someone please tell me the correct dimensions of the port in Jim's vented design for the Jordan/Aurum monitor. Thanks

Bern,
Well, I don't know about the Jim Griffith minimonitor design--did not know that he had one--but the Jim Griffin minimonitor uses a 1.375" inside diameter by 4.5" long port tube. It is Parts Express #260-388. Use it without the outer sliding or adjustable portion of the tube. Jim |

Thanks Jim and sorry about the mix up with your name.
Can you give me any tips on how to judge how much fill material to use? I have lined the interior with a felt material. Thanks again Bern |

Bern,
My recommendation on stuffing or lining the box is similar to Brian's photo. For mine I used the 1.5" convoluted or egg crate foam on the back wall and then I wrapped the sides, top and bottom walls with 3/4" thick acoustic foam. Be sure to have complete air flow between the driver and the port. Jim |
