Recently we tried to make some "artwork" covering wood phase plug with shellac.
Sound difference - I am not sure if will be able to detect in blind test

, but it takes few days for shellac to solidify we`ll wait befor eto make final conclusions)

Hi all,
May I present my speakers I built two years ago with birch plywood..
Driver are Audax (french brand) AM21LB, 8 pouces fullrange.
It's MLTL, port firing at bottom, and adding a variable BSC.

Nice work Philfr. The 8 pouces were an Astute choice.
IMO headphone size drivers make for headphone size noises (erm ..sounds)
