A friend of mine likes the sound of my Ciares, but OBs are too large for his room. So I consider to use a Rondo enclosure.
The problem however is the side walls. DIYers normally use 4mm plywood, but I have my doubts whether that`s enough. A wood dealer told me that Ceiba, a tropical wood, is much more elastic and I can use thicker boards. Does anybody know what thickness the original Rondo side walls have?

There are many pre-kerfed materials out there such as plywood and mdf that can be used to make the curves easy. Do a google for "kerfed mdf". Another great link for curved loudspeaker info is here...
