Your best bet is probably to contact Jordan direct.

Hi Earplugs, if you still have the Jordan info for the JX62
could you post it?

Thanks

I have the original spec page from the website available as a PDF. It's 250kb so if you'd like to send me a PM, I'll forward it to you.

Apparently we have the technology ... albeit at low res.

PS Re-reading the thread, I realise I never did report back on the offset TL linear array. Probably because it didn't sound very good. I sold the JX53s and then TJ demonstrated how stunningly good his sounded in a wide baffle enclosure.

Hi Colin,

after I bought your JX53 I was thinking what to do with them!
I put them in a wide baffle as you suggested at the time and sounded quite good, but put them aside as I liked my other system more.
Last month I decided to finish my project as I had some JX150 sitting around. Hope tomorrow will be finished.
I am going to use the compensation circuit suggested by Jordan and a 4.5 mH coil for the bass. Hope they sound good. You can see some pictures, hope you like them.

They look excellent - I hope they work well. The wide baffle approach certainly sounded good when Ted demonstrated it, giving the array a lot more weight and depth than my TLs managed. It should make crossing to a woofer a lot easier.

What enclosure are you using with the JX150 - sealed or vented?

Sealed, about 75 litters. I' m only not sure about how low to cross the JX150. I think Ted recommends a 9 mH coil, but it sems to me very low. I will try and see. I have an 6.8 sitting around and test if I don' t like it.

When Ted was using a system like this he crossed over around 100 or 120Hz, letting the array run without any high pass crossover. He was also using a single JX150 per channel in a sealed enclosure. I'll be interested to read how you find the sound.
