Default Buschhorn FE83 & subwoofer?

I built a pair of Buschhorns (with the smooth internal curves)using the Fostex 3" FE83 driver.

These speakers sound quite good with jazz - especially Diana Krall - everyone who has heard them has been quite impressed.

They even have bass, but the deep bass just isn't there. These things are supposed to have an F3 of 50Hz - seems a little optimistic to me.

Has anyone used a sub with backloaded horns that they are pleased with?
