Hi,
Has anyone here tried a phase plug in a fe107e yet? Do you have a FR measurement? What did it do to the sound? I currently am running my 107's in a 6.4 Litre BR tuned to 86hz. Very nice except for some what I would call distortion at the extreme high end of the BW. I have used radio shack 40-1197's that are phase plugged with the same source electronics and did not hear any of that. The midrange of the 107's is much better though IMO. I don't want to scrap the fostex's on an experiment gone wrong if I can help it. Thanks for any wisdom on the matter. J |
