Hi there,
I'm probably going to buy a pair of Philips Alnico 9710M, and read on dhtrob.com about this: (see drawing at bottom of page) http://www.dhtrob.com/installatie/weergevers.htm (only in Dutch)
or:http://www.phy-hp.com/English/Communication_E/Com_E_Baffle_Plan.html
I only got the dutch word for this construction: 'klankscherm' ("Soundscreen"?? )
What this is called in english isn't crucial, I was wondering what to expect from this, DHTRob is enthousiastic, but are other people too? I don't have any full range experience
Thanks!

Some extra information, thank you! But I was looking for personal experiences, something like:
So anyone else?
Cheers!
Mais ajoutez un grave de grand diamètre et vous ne pourrez plus écouter un seul baffle du commerce...
So anyone else?
Cheers!
Also bought a pair of 9710M
Miniwatt,
I was wondering if you already build the DHTRob enclosures and what your experiences are with these cabinets?
I also bought a pair and am now looking around for a good cabinet to build. The DHTRob cabinets look very good to me.
I also found a modification to the driver that was done by some Taiwanese guy. I send him a message to ask for details.
Kind regards,
Patrick

Certainly
On page 8 of the thread there is a picture with four different measurements. The area of the port is at the top of every measurement(ignore peak/dip at 50Hz). We settled for 110cm2.
Yesterday i put the filter together(still running it FR), but i am not totally happy with the sound, i guess ill have to experiment some more...
Please ask if anything else is unclear!
