Default OB near full rangers...

As my previous post hadn't recieved any responses, I'll now give my impressions (not that anyone will actually read them tho..)

Holy cow pies Batman! Well not really, the Oxford 12" full rangers had a real megaphone sound to them. Brainwave...hawk a pair of mid-tweets from a salvaged pair of loudspeakers and the cross over. Mounted these RadioShack cones as close to the full rangers as possible.

So far incredible bass (I wasn't prepared for it as many suggest OBs are light in the bass). Open midrange and top end open and detailed, suprising too for Cdn $7ea from RadioShack.

Sound stage incredible, and the ambiance type info is all there!

All on the 31"X 35" baffles found here

Anyways I think I just found out about the appeal of the Open Baffle concept.. I have no 6"X8" top plate as per the instructions. There is no lack of bass what-so-ever.
