I have now done enough to my Needles to be able to listen to them and thought I would, after obtaining Berndt's kind approval put up a web page detailing my efforts so far.
The URL is; http://www.jrbham.btinternet.co.uk/needle/index.html Regards - Jem |

Hi there!
I would like to know if I can use a slightly different coil value? 0,56 mH is available, but only as quite expensive band-coils (or whatever they are called in english.) What I can get access to without spending a fortune are the following values: 0,5 mH and 0,6 mH standard air wound coils 1,4 mm diameter. By the way, would it make a noticable difference if I spent more money on the band coils, or is it more than the tangband driver deserves? |

Hi, thanks for the nice constructionplans
They work very good, though lacking a bit to much in the bass to be used without a sub. Here's a picture of mine http://home.no.net/torsaa/cyburg/IMG_0055.jpg

@Thror: Very nice woodwork! The veneered version looks like right out of the shop. Do you put a "foot board" on them afterwards or du you leave them open?
Nice greetings, Berndt |

Here are a couple of pics of the finished articles, though I say it myself I'm quite pleased with the result.
This pic is a full length one. Regards - Jem |
