At a glance, it constitutes a simple offset driver pipe horn and since curves are used over most of its expansion it could be a 'golden ratio' flare even though it has parallel sides, with the downside that these cause a 'train' of eigenmodes along its length [AKA 'slap'echo'] like in a typical parallel wall room.

Without a whole lot of measurement points, no way to easily figure it's actual flare, axial length, hence do any sims unless a drafting program can work with less: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/51/0e...b2c395b744.jpg

Is there a way to minimize this slap echo effect, like maybe putting a non reflective material on the parallel sides

probably something like 3/8" felt - a piece at the top bend - maybe something in the "chamber" - then perhaps one sidewall. P10 and GM would know better than myself.

If it were truly a golden ratio, it would look like a Fibonacci spiral (a Nautilus) and wondering why the math teacher did not make a curved inner wall if he made a full curved outer wall?

See the resemblance?

Drawing in post #8 updated.

GM, if you can point out what dimensions you need i will measure that. Horn is 2 small straight sections and 3 circlular sections.

That looks good Planet10, nice work. I can also take more precise measurements such as the midpoints of the circular sections

Phase plugs for the drivers, basket damping — and/or more radical mods.
