Yes and thanks, tweeter attenuation. I just added a resistor and it helped tons.

Which AN 10 inch are you referring to?
All seem to "shout" from 2.5K on up.
As per FR charts:

Classic Alnico.......3k-7k more or less
Classic Ferrite............2k-8K
Classic Super Ferrite............2.5k and up
Super 10 Alnico........12K-17K

Are you looking to use a Notch Filter?

To start with a wide "Q": 2.5-9.5Khz (-5db)

Cap....10.92uf
Resistor....2.65 ohms
Inductor...0.27mh

Wire these in parallel (with each other) in the order listed
then wire this filter in SERIES with the AN on the (+) Terminal only.

You can change these values to change the attenuation needed but at least this should be a start.

inductors I have on hand are 1.8, 2.2 & 2.7

Your Inductor values are way high. Those are more appropriate at MUCH lower
frequencies (300 hz) etc..

I listed a filter for 5 db's of attenuation from 2.5-9.5 k.

3 db's would be:
C=8.58 uf
R=2.65 ohms
L= 0.21 mh

If you can get your hand's on a Audio Equalizer you could experiment.
Many AVR's have this feature as well as some older Receiver's.
