Default W4 1320 vs W4 1337

Hi folks,

did anyone listen to the W4 1337? I'n looking for a clearer speaker than the W4 1320, something "transparent" like the Airtight Bonsai AL5. These speakers have blown my head.

Did someone compare these two drivers? (1320 and 1337)

thanks a lot
regards,
seb

Had both, not at same time.

I'd get the 1337 myself.

Nice line array!

Could you be please more specific? Is the sound more detailled with the 1337?

thanks,
seb

Now remember, i was using 9, so each driver is moving 1/9 compared to a single driver.

The sound was super transparent, similar to some estats, think good headphone detail.

Micro transient.

The 1320 has a peak near 6khz that adds a clang to cymbals, not offensive, just slightly odd.

Were i needing a 4" or another line array like the grey one, it would be at the top of my list.

Which 1337? Based on published specs, one is 'laid back', while the other is a bit 'forward' relative to 'flat'.

More 'laid back', top end 'air', my choice too.

Sorry I'm French I don't understand very well the meaning of "laid back"

I'm looking for something super detailled. Ferrite or neo?

regards,
seb
