Diy stereo emulation from a single enclosure

Hi!
Are there any diy project that can simulate stereo depth from a single enclosure speaker by altering the source signal? Either by using a circuit or computer software?

Here is an example of a existing speaker that does that;

Between the source and the amplifier an active box is connected wich emulates stereo or even 360 degree 5.0 surround. It works surprisingly well.

Actually I do have 3 lowther c45 in the basement, I guess you could merge 3 BL horns, with a 30 degree angle and end up with a "furniture" that use the same principle as the nagaoka mx1. Would be fun to try, but quite a hefty project to finish.
