Years ago I won a pair of tower speakers made by Al Wooley / RAW Acoustics. Each speaker has 1 Tang Band W3-871s and 4 Tang Band W3-319S1.
There is no room in my house for these floor standers, but I need some desk top speakers.
I was thinking of pulling the W3-871s's and making the mTan-Ken593 cabinets. Due to the different mounting flange of the 871 vs. the 593, I would rebate the driver.
I was noticing that the mTan-Ken593 drawing does not show a center port spacer as seen in many if not all of the other mini/mili Fonken types. Is this correct?
Is any kind of network needed with this driver/cab combination?

A few of them are properly tuned with no spacer, or with no spacer and a shortened vent shelf.- Status
