Are people still making boominators or qubinators

I've always wanted to build a boomintor or a qubinator.
Probably the qubinator as I like the portability of it. But are people still making these? I can imagine they are since they look like beasts of machines but it's been around 5years. I guess I'm wondering if they are still on the top of the list among the best portable speakers mass produced and homemade?
