Tannoy I-15 drivers

I have been offered the chance to buy a pair of these drivers but I know nothing about Tannoy. Would they be good for Hifi?

Hi,

If you like it very loud with limited bass for the cabinet size,
or have a flea powered amplifier they might appeal for hifi.

However its a professional speaker designed to go very
loud and needing subwoofers to plumb the depths.

They are very nice drivers.
They have them in a FNAC store close to me, with Tannoy subs for your knowledge.
The Frequency Response is 60Hz - 22kHz (+/- 3dB)

You can listen to a CD or a band, it doesn't matter. They are the best.
They are all corrected/equalized/compressed for the bands and for the space (coffee shop) each time different and they always sound good when the sound engineer is also good.

Awww C'mon.. it's intended for Behind the Wine bar or Ladies washroom fitment.
"Professional" has Proven as Code for mediocre crap.
Want decent sounds? Spend more.
