I have built some ML QW speakers using the fostex fe168ez driver, the bass and midrange sound fantastic, but the high end is a little ragged. It sometimes sounds like it has a lisp. The response is level to about 5000 hz then drops 5-10 dB then pops up again at 7-9000 hz which I figure is some of the cone resonsnces that some full range drivers are known for. I figure I could just add a tweeter above 4500-5000 (first order) , see what it sounds like and then perhaps filter the fostex if needed.

I need about 90-91 dB.

Anyone have any recommendations?
