Fostex has just released an anniversary version of the FE103, this driver is now available from Madisound see,

I believe this is an improved version of the std FE103, anyone who has some experience with the std version may like to chime in, even though the Qts is lower than 0.7, I like it because the spl about 90dB easy to drive. 4" driver with Qts greater or equal to 0.7 has spl much lower than 90dB more like around 85dB which is far too low for me. I tried a similar driver with Qts=0.5 it seemed to work in a LXMini configuration, however the freq., response is not quite right.
BTW I have read the thread on "Fostex's new Fe103 Sol 8 50th anniversary Drivers?" Any further comments are welcomed on the sound quality and frequency response on the std FE103.
