Default Carbon fibre vinyl wrap

Anyone had any experience of using this stuff on enclosures, any pros/cons etc.
Only found one example here, will it screw up anything.

if you mean the "mac-tac" type of thin self adhesive textured vinyl - it certainly couldn't hurt the performance, but to avoid telegraphing joints / flaws etc would certainly require surface prep equal to that for a high quality paint job, and you'd need more than a little bit of practice to get decent results wrapping around corners, etc.

Yes well my local supplier only has the expensive veneer available at the movement and the ply he sold me is rubbish so will be giving him a wide berth.
Was just thinking of options came across a MA 12P here in a BR cabinet with vinyl wrap looks good, just thinking could it affect the sound in someway.
