Default Mark Audio Mark-Ten or Holly65 with the Gardient AXT-08

Hi everybody,

my name is Ronald and Im from germany . my first project was the needle with the tangband w3-871 and I would like to develop myself a little bit.

Is there anyone out there who has some experiences with these full range loudspeakers - Some say that it is possible to run the Alpair 10.2 the pure way without a network. Is this right or is this a myth.

By the way - I would like to build another TQWT-speaker or a similar TML

Thanx fr your help and support

The Alpair 10's are great, they are generation 3 now (10.3)

With a suitable cabinet they will go as low as most need.

Lots including myself want to add a sub/woofer to take the strain off the last few Hz, but they still sound amazing without.

If by pure, you mean full range and without filter or crossover, the answer is yes. There are plans available for the Apair 10.2 in a MLTL, both free and fee based. I built one and it is quite nice. I prefer it in the MLTL over a bookshelf design.

Thank you guys,

No, it's not a myth! My last A10.2-Project is finished since 01.01.2014, and sounds perfect!
