The best fiberfill for Pensils in the UK?

FWIW I have stumbled on a fiberfill, that has so remarkably improved the sound of my 10.3m's, I thought I'd pass it on.

Lambs wool is also very good and totally recyclable.

This is as close to carded lambs wool as I have found, from a man made fiber. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. With other types I have tried, the SQ dies as you get close to the recommended weight, not so AT ALL with this stuff, across the spectrum from a cymbal ring to a bass run - all sounds superb.

A quick cheat is to take the polyester filling from a pillow. It has [usually] both a flat slab of polyester and also loose wadding within.

As of yesterday I am using sheep wool in my Superpensils ( 12P ).
Comparison to polyfill : No comparison!!! Oh dear me is wool the way to go. I am blown away.
I am actually quite puzzled as to how much of a difference it has made..

I tried carded wool as well, no real difference to the carded fiberfill, but a world better than the clumpy stuff. Even texture seems to be the key, if I was building again I might trial fiberglass throughout.

This is not carded wool, though! It's long haired wool and thus i can create a fully amorphous filling inside the cabinet!
