Default CHR-70. Gen.3 - pictures

Not much to say here. Everyone loves seeing pictures though so figured I'd share.

These are Gen.3 drivers I bought from a guy in NZ.
The black cones look awesome.
Box is 16mm with window bracing
~9L net volume with a port tuning of ~45hz for memory
The front baffle is jarrah, finished with polyurethane
Port is made using PVC and a router
The paint finish is roll-on duratex.

They sound beautiful.

Hello Westy,
A very nice looking project, well done!

Anyone interested in the "All Black" CHR70A drivers can purchase them from Peter, who's our New Zealand dealer:

MOD-Loudspeakers - Markaudio CHR-70 (A) (Gen. 3) All-Black (silky sheen)

Cheers
Mark.

Thanks Mark.

Also for what it's worth guys Peter packed these drivers incredibly well and was a pleasure to deal with.
