I measured my spks. Rdc of voice coil are 8.7 and 8.6 ohms. Rdc of field coil are 680 and 780 ohms.

Maybe two spks are manufactored for differerent device or in different period.

I guess they have 10-16 ohms of impedance and need 90-100Vdc.

Hello xrk971,

I'm one of many audio diyers in VN taking part here. You are right. We have to buy those parts on the internet, via madisound, ebay, ect... So we have to get high tax and transfer charge. There are some audio dealer (speakers driver) here, e.g. Beymar, P audio... but almost them are professional.

Do you know VN ? or Have you ever been in VN ?

correct: 2 drivers have 680 ohms and 880 ohms of field coil. Any problem ?

making my brain hurt but I think 30-35 volts DC will energize the coil.
I have several of those and the coil readings are all over the place, never did find a working hammond organ with those speakers but that was the original design here in the states.
