No; I've seen a passive radiator done that way, I mean: you buy a replacement surround
(foam, in that case) and make a circle with plywood, then glue the thing to the baffle, add some weight in the center to adjust etc etc

Its a neat way of getting some low end out of a tiny little box. I've heard one of these in person and found it to be very impressive for the size.

Wonder if eNabling the table will improve the low end...

wow, neat idea.

incredibly unstable, and only useful at low volumes, but a great double use! For casual listening, might be fine.

I have seen recurring failues because of the wires breaking. Since the whole speaker moves frame and all, the wires are constantly moving and fail.
