Curious to know if there are any speakers offered in different colors that do not cost an arm and a leg. Why are most speakers black?

By speakers you mean the cabinets or the drivers?
If you look at the FR gallery you'll see a wide variety of finishes and colors folks have done for their boxes. Lot of nice ones there. If you mean full-range drivers, they are not all black either though black drivers do have a "pro" look...Some Fostex drivers are ivory/white; some models are charcoal grey Lowther and Feastrex (seen pictures only) are white Mark Audio has a wide range: - Metal cones: Copper, gold, titanium grey, white (MAOP cones) - Paper cones: Light blue, beige, and black |
