Hmmm looking at thomann, I saw the FRS-8

Visaton FRS 8M - Thomann Greek Cyberstore

almost the same bass extension, and only needs a 6 liters box, or 12 if i share the box (quick calculation). What do you guys think?

With sensitivity at 82db I wouldn't even bother.
These are not cheap but I believe they will rock Faital Pro 4FE32 4 30 Watts 8ohm loudspeaker : Lean Business, Oustanding Audio, Bass Guitar Speakers, Celestion Guitar Speakers, Guitar Amps, Tayden Guitar Speakers, Pro PA Speakers, Celstion spares, Celstion Vintage 30 and more!

Spiros you are right about the sensitivity. And yes the Faital look very good, but maybe a little over budget.

I asked the local Peerless importer about TC9FD/TG9FD, I ll know it a few days.

Thanks!

Something like that. Electronics go to the back compartment, solar cell on top

Click the image to open in full size.

Port depth is not there, just the opening. For reference, the drivers are 4''

Thanks for your suggestion. I am also looking for a lightweight 8ohm loudspeaker for a speaker backpack. I took a look at your suggestion of the faital pro 4fe32. I almost passed it bye because the link had the specs incorrect on the weight. It said 2.8kg but it is actually 270g. I found another spec sheet for anyone interested it.

http://www.faitalpro.com/products/files/4FE32/8/4FE32_datasheet_8.pdf

I think this might work for my application. Good suggestion.

Does anyone have any experience with this driver ? How does the sound compare with the fostex fe103en, fe126en ?

Thanks Robert
