I am making the Lowther Academy, PM6A+PM6C.
The assembly drawing, raw board cutting drawing and part drawing have been finished.
The wood is MDF. The frond and back panels are 27 (18+9) mm while the inner baffles are 18mm.
The driver holes were cut by a edge trimming cutter made in Taiwan, quite easy and handy to use.
All the panels are cut within plus or minus 1mm and 1 deg. accuracy.
I am ready to glue the parts.
Any suggestion or comment would be welcome.

The project was finished one year ago. A I remember I worked on the Academy about off-duty 3 months.
The sound is wonderful, very natural and dynamic. The sound-space is wide-opened because of equipped two drivers on each cabinet.
I usually listen to the classic music and the 40Hz bottom of Academy is enough.
I sold the Dynaudio Contour 1.8MKII after comparison.
Cut the bevel angle of inner plates as accuracy as possible and paste the covering with beautiful veneer.
You will not regret to build it.

I forgot to mention that the cable I used is Odio pure silver wire bought from http://www.thlaudio.com/indexE.htm. The wire in the cabinet is 1.6mm diameter, while the cable connecting amp and speaker is 3.0mm diameter and 3m long. After using this cable, the sound is to be highly purified compared to the copper one but without the feeling of shrinkage normally happened on some silver wires made by other brands. I bought all the material from thlaudio, and then assemblied the outer tubing and teflon mesh and welded the connecting joint myself. All the plug and socket are WBTs but cheaper models.
