just thinking about a way to find the sweet spot on speaker placement. start 3' out 2'on sides 8'apart? does it pop out when you find it? How big of an area?

I'll probably be shrugged off for this, but I use measurements and common sense. As much distance from potential reflections is a good thing. Then take measurements watching for the most even bass response and fewest ripples from floor bounce, etc. Once you have the location locked in for that, I toe in by listening to the treble. Sometimes direct on axis is a good thing. Sometimes a cross fire is good. Sometimes straight out looks the best.

I haven't any measuring equipment Speakers are diy bob brine desighn with 8" foxtex
