Hello,
FIRST OFF ALL I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST FOR 2013!
I took the Chance at madisound to get an pair Alpair 10.2 quit cheap.
From an earlier unfinished Project I still have an Nice Housing which i Would use for the alpair 10.2. Inside size w/h/d 167/450/264mm, volume arround 20 litre.
I would like to Cut Down the height to 350mm what reduce Volume to 15,5 litre.
Any ideas if this size works as an bassreflex or mini fonken/onkenversion.
Many Thanks in advance.
I also Try to Post an Image Off the Housing.
Br
Klaus

Looks like resizing your existing box is possible...

Klaus,
If you refer to Dave's Mar-Ken10.2 CGR cabinet, the internal dimensions (HxWxD) is 395mm x 240mm x 149mm.
Looks like you will have to down size from all 3 sides to get the box dimensions right. Shortening the height to get to ~13 litres will get your box volume down to size, but the right size of slot port also needs to be worked out - maybe Dave can help there?
BTW, Dave can you please check the CGR plans - diagram shows port spacer at 50mm, while instuctions say 30mm.
Thanks.
