Am I seeing that correctly, that the driver is mounted off center so there will be 6 different length horns? If so you certainly have all the bases covered with tuning frequency.

The foam joint tape - is that your spiral template? hehe, what, are you only building two of these?

As far as the glue drying, I would first install a 3/8" wide strip of paper to the cardboard edge with PVA glue, let it dry and then you will have a wider surface to put your glue on for the baffle piece.

I don't seem to have any 20" square pieces here so I am thinking about a Suprabaffle instead. Here is the shape I am thinking. It will be made of wood and glued to the foam. Any thoughts?

It was 5.0mH IIRC. I started smaller and just kept upping it till I didn't notice so much overlap with the small driver.

Looks nice Cal. You may want to give the tractrix front horn some consideration. I don't have it mounted yet but holding it in place you can hear a big difference.

No doubt there's a difference, probably a really noticeable one. With me the jury is still out on the FLH's even though I am an owner.

Superbowl time soon. See y'all tomorrow.

Hi there, gentelemen. I've been following this thread very closely. AKA lurking for some time.

I have all the material to build a pair of 24" cornu's. I saw xrk971 mention using the TangBand W4-1320SIF and was wondering if it would be a good candidate. If so, what would the height of the spirals? 4.5"? This is my first go and hot glue box building but am excited to try it out. Thanks for all your help and insight. Very impressed with all the knowledge on this forum

Thanks a million xrk971! I appreciate it. I' m going to get all the internals cut tomorrow night and employ the better half's hands this weekend to get them glued up. Weather is supposed to be crappy so it will be a great inside job.

I will get some pictures up when I get them stuck together.

Thanks again
