And here is the happy couple and they do sound really good. Can't wait to get them up on the wall. The construction glue allso works really well, i can recommend it over the polyurethane glue.

Thanks It's a fostex FE103En in a 60cm / 24inch wide 8cm / 3.14inch deep cornu. The drivers had matching screws but they where to large for the 5mm thick front, so now i'm stuck with these ugly ones untill i can find something better

Ok, i decided to do something about the screws today since the rvs ones are terrible for the WAF.

As you can see the screws that came with the drivers have a non threaded part which is about the size of the mdf i used..

After visiting a few stores i found out no-one is selling nice and shiny black round screws, so i got the next best thing.. nice and shiny gold looking ones...

which will probably still look ugly when used with the drives, but on the up side: the shape looks about right.

So then i got these, the cheapest spray paint i could find

Now this is with a few base coats

And then with the black finish.

Waiting for the paint to dry... They almost look like the original ones now, i just hope the paint doesn't come off when i screw them in

I think I might have just glued small pieces of MDF to the backside of the baffle so I could use the original screws.

because the driver is a little larger then the original mounting hole and with the square shape it, the screw holes are almost on top of the foam. Making it very hard to glue something in ..and this is more fun.

Screwing them in did damage the paint a little, but that is only noticable from up close. Problem solved

Looks great Coen! Tip: use a black Sharpie permanent marker to touch up the paint.

Also(for next time), you might try putting a piece of masking tape on the screwdriver tip prior to driving the screws.
